We’re delighted to introduce Smarthub, a web-based platform packed with tools and templates that enable you to unlock all sorts of new solutions with Smartsheet, saving you time and giving you new powers.

For example, want to create an asset inventory or document tracker in Smartsheet with hundreds of files?

Use Bulk Attach To Row and upload hundreds of files in minutes onto separate rows, where the file names are listed on each row. Then you can start collaborating and tracking the status and so much more.

And you can use Attachment Info to list the names and numbers of files on each row, as well as file sizes

Or want to be able to quickly add images to cells in your sheet so you can review them easily, show them in dashboards, reports, and more?

Use image-to-cell and have up to 10 images appear in different columns in your sheet on each row. Or better, get images to map to columns with specific names.

Want to monitor changes to a cell status or see the time the status changed to track service level agreements? Use Cell history and get a new column added to your sheet that shows as many changes to the status as you wish, along with who made the change and the date and time.

And these are just some of the tools Smarthub is launching with.

It’s a usage-based platform, with all tools calculating usage in bolts, our platform currency. Each tool has a usage rate and you can calculate what level of subscription you need for each month, and increase or decrease your subscription monthly, and top up mid-month as needed. You can set usage caps to avoid any nasty surprises and monitor overall plan usage or usage by tool instantly.

It’s a multi-tenanted platform enabling users to have multiple plans, and has been built with enterprise level security principles at its core.

Advanced users moving from Microsoft Project into Smartsheet may notice a missing feature: task constraints.

Not everyone needs them. But for teams that do - particularly those managing deadlines, regulatory windows, or cross-plan dependencies - having a way to say “must start before”, “do not start before”, or “must finish by” can be important.

Dial Up Your Project Management: Risk Matrix Numbers & Portfolio View in Smartsheet

In a previous video, we showed how to display risk healines directly on your Smartsheet dashboard using a JOIN COLLECT formula. This video takes it further — switching to COUNTIF to show the number of risks in each category, and then tackling the bigger challenge: how do you get that same view at a portfolio level?
