I consider myself to be an advanced Smartsheet user but after only two hours with Rich, I already felt I had my money’s worth for Prodactive’s 10 hour support package.

The solution Prodactive has built for us is a total game-changer. We engaged with them for their PPM expertise and their template set has given us a consistent framework with which to manage our projects.

What’s really lifted it to another level though, is the financial forecasting add-ons that Phil built for us, which utilise data from the main template, along with bespoke templates derived from our Excel originals. The amount of time it was taking us to pull together our cashflow forecasts in Excel was unsustainable and impinging on our ability to focus on business growth.

Prodactive has provided us with the toolset necessary to get our data working for us, reducing wasted activity and allowing us to focus on adding value, yielding a measurable financial benefit to the organisation.

When I was looking for a partner to help develop a Smartsheet-based solution for managing our construction projects, I was thinking big but needed a flexible approach to delivering on my vision. Prodactive were happy to build the solution piece-by-piece and were able to adapt it on the fly as new ideas surfaced. They were also willing to subject it to the exacting level of scrutiny that our own clients put on us.

The result has been a fantastic solution that has operated near flawlessly since they handed it over. Net profit on projects is up by 5%, turnover versus spend on materials is up by 40% and we have reduced the average number of emails per purchase from 7 down to 2. The best news is that we’re just getting started, as we’re now looking across our entire business at how Prodactive and Smartsheet can eliminate waste and drive out cost.

Rich built our Common Execution platform and related workspaces on Smartsheet from scratch in record time over the Christmas period. He and I designed this together and he was easily able to grasp our requirement, map and then build it. The Common Execution platform consists of our Financials, Strategic Imperatives, Projects, BD Pipelines and Snapshots (the critical projects CEOs and team are working on across their businesses). These all flow up into dashboards and then are rolled up into a global holding company dashboard.​

We have subsequently created a Board Pack workspace that houses all of our Board Meeting information and we now run all of our Board meetings across the Group utilizing this. We have taken our board meetings prep down by 70%, and our board meetings have gone from the whole day to 90 minutes, utilizing a combination of the Common Execution platform and the Board Pack environment. No more PowerPoints are required for Board meetings and Q Management Meetings.
