Advanced users moving from Microsoft Project into Smartsheet may notice a missing feature: task constraints. Not everyone needs them. Here we present two reliable ways to track task progress in Smartsheet — using Percentage Complete or using a simpler Not Started / In Progress / Complete status. For some businesses, they do not care what the actual % Complete it, just whether a task has not started, is in progress or is complete.
